The effect is unexpected and even slightly alarming as the rabbit appears to distort and expand in a strange dreamlike way. It works on everyone and produces squeals and gasps of surprise, particularly from those who don't know what to expect. Watching the disc spin in the opposite direction makes the rabbit appear to shrink. Fascinating!
